Get motivated, inspire others, and stay grateful: Tips on living a wholesome life

Life can be tough and beautiful.

Get motivated. Motivation comes from your desire to do that which you want to do even when you least want to do it. Motivation can keep you going even on your tough days. The thing about motivation is that you can experience it through both good and bad days and the result would be the same-changing your mindset for the better.

  • Have a weekly verse near your desk: I’m sure wherever you are, you most likely have a place that is specifically for you. Whether you have a desk, a place on your wall, or even on your fridge-have verses weekly that you put up. The verse you choose to put up, you will be able to see it daily and it can even be that last hope that gets you going.
  • Start your day with a devotion: Everybody has their own way they can get motivated through devotions. Start your day with prayer and Bible time to really ask God for guidance throughout the day. God knows what you need and he will never fail you.
  • Make a playlist of your favorite songs: Have a busy schedule in the morning? Make a playlist of your favorite songs to equal the time it takes to get ready. In this way, you will be where you need to be, and at the same time you are being motivated to start your day.

Be inspired to inspire. We all get tired. However, we can create an environment full of inspiration that gives us that hope when we most feel discouraged. You can find inspiration everywhere you go, but you can also create it. Once you know how you most feel inspired, encourage others as well.

  • Post inspirational quotes and verses: On your social media, you can repost, retweet, take a screenshot, and write your own verses to inspire the lives of many. It only takes a few moments to post a quote or verse on social media, but the result will have a lasting impact.
  • Surprise others with random acts of kindness: Open the door for strangers, give your friend a hug and never stop being kind. You never know how your actions affect the lives of others. A treat or greet can make anyone’s day. Be that person who inspires others.
  • Watch inspirational videos: Whenever you want to be insoired in any aspect of your life, look up videos online. There are many videos online of different topics. You will feeel diffrent when you watch testimonies even on your worst days.

Always stay grateful. Never stop being grateful. Life can be chaotic, but life can also be beautiful. Thank God for it all.

  • Thank God every day: God is love. He does things for us even when we don’t know he is. Thank God for everything you have each day. He knows what is best for you. Always have a grateful heart.
  • Count your blessings in a jar: Count your blessings daily. Whether it’s writing little blessings in a jar or writing your daily gratitudes in a journal-remember to be grateful. Later in life, you can read all about your days through the records you keep.
  • Always remember to say thank you: It’s nice to let people know that you appreciate them. Therefore, say thank you when someone opens the door for you. Say thank you when someone demonstrated an act of kindness. Remind the people in your life that you value them.

Life can be tough and beautiful. You see rainy days, both literally and figuratively. However, you also experience sunshine which makes your day even brighter. So, live life every day to the fullest. Laugh more, pray more and always appreciate the people in your life. Even though you never know what a day may bring forth, it is God that is there with you through it all. The Bible says, “I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth (Psalm 121:1-2). Be a world-changer, the Lord is with you always.
